Quelques résultats de vitesse en vrac toujours sur TradGang

ACS 56#

My light arrows are pse x-force 100 and weigh 350 grains total. My heavy arrows are gold tip 5575 and weigh 430 grains total. My original string is my factory A&H 12 strand D-97 and the new one is the 6 strand D-97 you see above in the previous post. I shot all arrows 10 times and took the average of each group to determine the speed.

OLD STRING NEW STRING
350 grain arrows 227 fps 233 fps

430 grain arrows 201 fps 212 fps


More test results! My two bows ACS and Centaur, both 46# @ 30″, 633gr. arrow.

ACS
12 strand 167,167,168
4 strand 170,169,168

Centaur
12 strand 164,168,167
4 strand 167,169,171

Not a very noteworthy performance improvement, a couple fps, but the 4 strand made the Centaur silent. The ACS was already silent and remained silent with the new string.

Apparemment après lecteur de la thread plus le poids de la flèche augmente plus le gain de vitesse se réduit et semble tendre vers une valeur asymptotique de 2 fps
